  Day 1: Very elegant for a 16 on the pop and pour. Raspberries, blue fruits, minerals, spice, dust and floral notes. Smooth finish. This is drinkable right now. Excellent value. 92 points
  Day 2: Even better on day 2. Blueberries, dust, spice, leather, cherry, minerals, floral and dark chocolate. Mild wood on the finish but this is amazing how good this is young. 94 points
  Day 3: Still good but no where near day 2 quality.
  Recommendation: Drink these over the next 5 to 7 years. Day 1 decant a few hours and enjoy. (94 points)

  Day 1: For under $30 this is a steal. Mineral streak, blueberries, sour cherry, dust, floral and earth. Medium plus finish and wonderful example of Merlot from Washington. 92 points
  Day 2: So amazing for the money. Blueberries, minerals, dust, sour cherry, chocolate, earth and floral notes. Medium to long finish and balanced. Really a solid example of WA Merlot. 93 points

• 2017 Seghesio Family Vineyards Old Vine Zinfandel – USA, California, Sonoma County (11/13/2021)
• Day 1: Trying more of the great producers of Zinfandel from California. This wine is great and not over the top which I don’t like in any wine. Nice fruit featuring raspberries, boysenberries and unripe strawberries. Spice, menthol, stone and underbrush. A concentrated but balanced effort. This is delicious. 92 points
• Day 2: Even a bit better. Nice fruit again and picks up some bramble on the finish. Very smooth wine overall without the harshness sometimes associated with Zinfandel. I also got no heat on this wine. 92.5 points
• Recommendation: Bought this for $25.00 so hard to beat it at that price. Amazed at the 15.6% alcohol as it does not show. Good value. (92 points) $27.60 (Great price)SOLD OUT
