While I love wine from around the world the best wines are coming from Walla Walla in the wine world for the money. They have the climate, soil and dedication to making the best wines in the world for the money. Sure would rather drink $2,000 Burgundy wines but of course can’t afford that. This 100% Syrah is in the running for best wine of the year not just in the under $25.00 category. Result of a Crush is the best wine club on the west coast as they offer free shipping ($50 plus a case) on 2 shipments per year. I of course order more than that but this was in the recent shipment.

Day 1: Going to order a case of this wine. Enough said.
Day 2: Gorgeous wine featuring black pepper, black olives, dust, floral, dark fruits and spices. Medium to long finish. Just amazing stuff. 93+ points
Day 3: This is why I do the 3 day wine review and love the doubters that say the wine is not fresh on day 3. Sure for cheap wines you are right but those wines are worth drinking anyway. This is wine of the year candidate and possibly the best of the Unnamed Series Syrah wines. Super complex featuring black olives, mild smoke, tar, black pepper, dark berries, earth, leather and exotic spices. For under $25.00 not many I have ever tasted at this level and that is over 25 years of great closeout deals thrown in there. 95+ points
