Many wine geeks including myself have been buying from Envoyer for years with confidence however there are some serious problems within their ranks. I recently helped a client get two cases of mostly Champagne since that is what they are known for however with 3 wines needing to be subbed out after they already purchased them I knew something was wrong. Also delays on shipping (over a month) added concerns.
Little did we know we were not alone and a once Wine Berserker shop darling is getting some significant complaints. As someone who called Premier Cru for what it was before their Ponzi Scam, we are seeing the same behavior from Envoyer. Buying wines and then finding out they are out of stock when you go to ship. Delay on shipping! Not getting back to you within 2 weeks on emails.
Avoid! Plus their prices are not that good and shipping is expensive.
