Open as many bottles as I do in a year and there is only one answer for older bottles and even newer one’s. Corks dry out the Durand is batting 1,000. When using a waiter corkscrew I will have a cork break in half and the Durand will easily get the remaining cork out without the mess. Here are some photos of older corks coming out flawless.
