Anyone who knows wine, knows Total Wine is not a really good deal especially in the Twin Cities. As the leading expert on wine in the State I love Morelli’s Monday Madness Deals. While not as good as the Tuesday Dash Deals of Big Top/Sid’s Fame we have still some great prices. This might be one of the bigger differences in price.

Day 2: This is a solid everyday wine for $29.99. Crazy others have this for $79.99. Blueberries, spice, menthol, minerals and floral notes. Day 1: Very nice overall with floral, blueberries, tar, minerals, strawberries, earth and a touch of Eucalyptus. Medium finish. Drinking well out of the gate but could see this improve some over 3 days.
Day 2: Light overall for an Aussie Cabernet which is not a bad thing. Blueberries, minerals, earth, mild spice, strawberries, floral and Eucalyptus. Short to medium finish. Good everyday wine at $30. 90 points
Recommendation: Certainly not worth $80 or whatever full retail or Total Wine is charging but drinkable for $30. (91 points)
While this is not a great wine at $29.99 at Morelli’s Monday Madness it works for me. Total Wine $77.99 is insane.
