I have been a huge buyer of WTSO since day 1 and also a critic several years ago as they were not bringing in good wines. More like Total Wine Cheap Winery direct too often. Let me tell you now that they are offering some of the best deals out there. Here are the following wines you should buy and yes HOLD over the summer until fall shipping which is a featured option.
- 2022 Avennia Syrah Arnaut Boushey Vineyard – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley (3/22/2026)
Taste Washington Grand Tasting Day 2 (Lumen Field, Seattle): Glasvin Universal. Cherry, plum, minerals, earth, white pepper and floral notes. A savory effort and outstanding quality. (94 points) $26.99

- 2021 Neely Chardonnay Spring Ridge Vineyard Home Block – USA, California, Santa Cruz Mountains (6/29/2026)
Day 1: Glasvin Universal. A bit cloudy on this wine but doesn’t interfere with the quality. Chablis like in many ways with shells, lemon, dust, stone, minerals, pear and apple. Very nice and balanced. 92 points
Day 2: Consistent with day one and previous bottles. This is a steal. 92 points
Recommendation: Go to WTSO and type the wine in and your welcome. (92 points) $14.99

- 2019 Immortal Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Slope – USA, California, Sonoma County (6/18/2026)
Day 1: Glasvin Kane. Natural cork. Is this the value Cab of the year? Might be. $39.99 and rocking. Blueberries, cherry and plum featured on this fruit forward in a great way wine. Spices, wood, vanilla, coffee beans, floral and earth. Very balanced wine and medium plus finish. Pop and pour and delicious. 94 points
Day 2: Great again with blueberries, dark cherry, plum and raspberries. Spices, menthol, wood, mild vanilla and coffee beans. Medium plus finish. Not too many with the discount offering this quality. 94 points

Recommendation: Easy $45 purchase from WTSO. (94 points) $44.99 - 2019 J. Christopher Pinot Noir Bella Vida Vineyard – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills (6/22/2026)
Day 1: Glasvin Obsession Pinot Stem. Natural cork. One of the bigger myths in wine is that wine that is shipped needs time to settle. Well The Neely Chardonnay and this Pinot says otherwise which has always been my experience. When you think Burg like from Oregon J. Christopher really comes to mind. Cranberry, underbrush, earth, mushrooms, spices, violets and dust. Nice acidity and a wonderful effort for the price. 93 points
Day 2: Love this style and rustic in nature. Cranberry, dried strawberries, underbrush, spices, dust, earth and violets. Nice minerality on the medium plus finish. 93 points
Day 3: Blind might mistake this for Burgundy. Love the price and the producer. Violets, underbrush, raspberries, strawberries, menthol, spices and earth. Super enjoyable and ready to drink now. 93.5 points
Recommendation: Easy six pack purchase. (93 points) $29.99 - 2022 Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir Volcanic – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills (6/27/2026)
Liz’s Outdoor Tasting (Minneapolis, MN): Tied with Abbott Claim as my favorite wine. Earth, mushrooms, violets, strawberries, cherry and rose petals. Medium plus finish. Very balanced and nice acidity. Well made. (93 points) $27.99
