Every Tuesday Big Top Liquors/ Sid’s does a Tuesday email blast with some seriously good deals. I buy almost all of my beer via their super closeouts on beer but they also offer some really good wine deals. A few weeks ago they offered this wine. Really drinking well and the $6.60 I paid for it is a great value. You can’t get a drinkable Sauvignon Blanc for that price.
2013 Buehler Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc Bon Marche – USA, California, Napa Valley (3/28/2018)
Day 1: Picked this up for under $7. At that price why not. This is a classic educational tip to the average wine drinker on why you don’t drink a glass of white out of the fridge. Let it warm up some. Picking up some nice tropical fruits, grass notes and flint. Very complex for domestic S.B. Short to medium finish and decant acidity. Drink now but will still check in over the course of 3 days. 89 points
Day 2: Still drinking well with increased concentration of lemon. Similar to yesterday and still holding strong. If it was warmer probably be even more enjoyable. Still 89 points
Day 3: Declined a little so drink on day 1 or 2.
Recommendation: This is a drink me now wine. I would not hold beyond summer 2018. (89 points)
