Day 3: Glasvin Obsession. Funk, rose petals, celery, iodine, cherry, spices and earth. One of the more funky Pinots I have tried from Oregon and like it. A great deal from WTSO. 92 points (92 points) $17.99

Day 1: Glasvin universal. Natural cork. Great $29.99 from WTSO. Red currants, spice, dust, earth, pepper and blueberries. Most satisfying. 92 points
Day 2: Very good again and one of the better WTSO deals in a while. Red currants, spices, chocolate, blueberries, minerals and dust. Very fresh and clean wine. Love it. 92.5 points
Day 3: Probably all sold out on WTSO but if not buy it. Red currants, dust, mild wood, dark chocolate, blueberries and minerals. Balanced and expressive. Love it! 92 points

- 2022 Fog & Wind Pinot Noir Wohler Vineyard Russian River Valley – USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (3/3/2026)
Day 1: Well Tried this first out of the Glasvin Expression but like it better out of the Glasvin Universal. Natural cork and this is a wonderful value under $30.00. Strawberries, cranberries, spices, floral, minerals, red hots in a good way and forest floor. A bright and vibrant wine and medium plus finish. Really good. 93 points
Day 2: A bit sweeter than I normally like but think Tensley Syrah. Strawberries, cola, raspberries, red hots, earth and minerals. Medium finish. Not as good as day 1 which I thought it would be equal for sure. 90 points
Day 3: Well what a difference a day makes and a glass makes. Out of the Expression on day 3 this is rocking. Cranberry, strawberries, minerals, mint, spices, floral and forest floor. Open for business and better than day 1. 94 points

Day 1: Price is right from WTSO for $19.99. Natural cork. Dark purple and very balanced wine with pepper, spice, floral, blueberries, cherry, menthol and dust. Talk about the perfect party wine where a wine geek would enjoy a glass. 92 points
Day 2: A pleasant surprise. Dark currants, cherry, spice, menthol, floral as Nandi pepper. Very good. 92 points
Day 3: Well this is a great QPR wine that would appeal to many. Very complex offering for the money. Pepper, floral, bell peppers, cherry, menthol, dust, spices and dark currants. Held up nicely over 3 days and should drink well through 2031. 92 ponts

Day 1: Natural cork. Riedel Performance Pinot Stem. Ok this is one of the best Pinots out there for $24.99 and it will be a crowd pleaser or be enjoyable by someone who likes expensive California Pinot. Strawberries, minerals, earth, light smoke, raspberries, spices and earth. Super complex for the price point. Yes please and ordering more! 93 points
Day 2: This is as said on day 1 a great value and while not as good as day 1 still solid. Wafer, spice, strawberries, earth, smoke and floral notes. A little riper style but I like it. Not the super sweet stuff like a Belle Glos but those who drink that would enjoy this for less. 92 points (93 points) $24.99

Day 1: For $24.99 very good. Rustic wine with crushed cherries, floral, minerals, earth, celery, dust and rust. Medium finish. Good value at $25. 91 points
Day 2: Rustic and I like it. Improving with some time. Sour cherries, floral, earth, crushed rocks, dust, underbrush and stone. Medium plus finish. Most excellent especially at the price of $25.99 from WTSO 92 points
Day 3: Excellent wine and really think over time this could get 93 or more. Raspberries, smoke, underbrush, violets, stone, crushed rocks, cherry, perfume and dust. Very balanced wine and nice acidity. 92+
Recommendation: Easy buy at $25.

- 2023 Violet Vines Pinot Noir Violet Vines Estate Vineyard – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, McMinnville (11/12/2025)
Day 1: Surprise no notes on this wine. Nice funk on the nose/palate along with cedar, minerals, earth, lavender, spice and dried flowers. Nothing off the charts but for $17 very drinkable. Good to serve to non wine geeks. 86 points
Day 2: What? Wine improves over 2 or 3 days. Of course and this is no exception. Would have never bought again on day 1 but hello. Raspberries, underbrush, strawberries, mild funk, cedar, minerals, a touch of dill and earth. Very nice finish and flavorful wine. A great under $20 Pinot in a category where there are not many great Pinots. 90 points
Day 3: Solid again with a little funk with underbrush, violets, raspberries, strawberries, minerals and earth. Medium plus finish. A real bargain. 90 points

- 2020 Château Le Pape – France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan (1/9/2026)
Day 1: Natural cork. 14%. Drank out of the Cab/merlot Performance Riedel. This was great on a pop and pour. Cigar, spices, earth, cassis, blue currants, minerals and leather. Medium finish and outstanding value for $30.00. 92 points
Day 2: A little less fruit showing but still very good with earth, gravel, spices, cigar, dried flowers and leather. Some blue currants on the finish. 90 points
Day 2.5: Better later in the day with perfume, cassis, cigar, menthol, spice, earth, leather and blue currants. Medium plus finish. For sure buying more at $30. 92 points
Day 3: Really solid showing and hard to find quality in Bordeaux under $30 with shipping. Well we found it. Cigar, earth, cassis, blue currants, minerals, leather, wood and floral notes. Complex offering and would be fooled blind on this one. 93 points

- 2021 Dutton-Goldfield Pinot Noir Fox Den – USA, California, Sonoma County, Green Valley of Russian River Valley (2/16/2026)
Day 1: Riedel Performance Pinot Stem. Fruit forward with strawberries, ripe cherries and cranberries. Also some rose petals, minerals and earth. Very nice wine overall and classic Russian River style. 92 points
Day 2: Even better. Rich wine with strawberries, cherry and cranberry. Minerals, earth, spice, dust and forest floor. Medium plus finish. 93 points
Day 3: This is one of the better Pinot values on WTSO right now. While it is a fruit forward style if offers so much more. Earth, spices, minerals, dust and dried flowers. Medium plus finish. 93 points

Day 1: Glasvin Obsession. Composite cork which I love seeing from Italy. Funk, spices, violets, dried twigs, mushrooms, minerals and iron. Very nice wine and not sure why such a low average on Cellar Tracker. 92+ (92 points) $49.99 - 2023 Patz & Hall Chardonnay Dutton Ranch – USA, California, Sonoma County, Russian River Valley (1/14/2026)
Day 1: Diam 10. Riedel Performance Chardonnay Glass. Well the average of 90 is going up. Outstanding offering for $35.00. Oak, lemon, mango, orange peel, dust, sour apple and spices. Medium plus finish and nice acidity. Highly recommended. 93 points
Day 2: Even better with wood, sour apple, spice, floral, orange peel, dust, minerals and lemon. Medium plus finish. This is good now but will go easily through 2030. 94 points
Day 3: Holding form. How many Chardonnay’s are at this level and under $40? Not many I can think of. Orange peel, sour apple, lemon, minerals, wood, dust, spices and white flowers. Medium plus finish. 94 points

3 Day Improvements Over Time; 11/27/2025-3/2/2026: Day 1: Natural cork. Wow wine. Funk, cherry, menthol, cigar, gravel, minerals and blue currants. This is an amazing value purchased in 2025 for under $100 with shipping! Awesome wine. 95 points
Day 2: Funky even more than day 1. Blew off mostly 10 minutes later. Gravel, spice, cherry, blueberries, earth , cigar and menthol. Complex and medium plus finish. Like it a lot. 95 points
Day 3: Once again the patience of day 3. This is good out of the gate and showing beautifully. Cassis, blueberries, mild funk, spice, gravel, menthol, earth, minerals, lavender and baking chocolate. Super complex wine with a long life ahead. Think 2044. 96 points
Recommendation: Not many regions in the world a wine under $100 is 96 points on my rating scale. (96 points) $94.99
