Stone, roasted meats, dark currants, smoke, blackberries, floral and gravel. Medium finish and very nice now but could cellar for 15 years. 92 points Day 2: Dusted Valley makes some outstanding Syrah’s and this improved on day 2. Smoked meats, sour cherry, blackberries, gravel, black olives, tar, stone, black pepper and smoke. Excellent quality and great value. 93+ Day 3: Very nice similar to day 2 so long term ager for sure. Roasted meat, black olives, black pepper, stone, tar, blackberries, minerals, dust and earth. Very complex offering and drinking well on its younger side. 93-95. Recommendation: Solid Rocks Syrah.
