Day 1: Bright fruit featuring cherry, plum and blackberries. A nice mild funk on this wine along with black pepper, menthol and floral notes. Reminds me of a well made Aussie. 91 points
Day 2: Interesting change on this wine on day 2. Picking up sour cherry, menthol, white pepper, gravel, earth and floral notes. While certainly not Northern Rhone much similar to it than the Aussie comparison in day 1. Just a unique development. 92 points (92 points)
Such a great deal on these from WineStreet in North Oaks. $20 a bottle. Should have taken more but like to share with other wine geeks.
