Day 1: Little murky in color. Underbrush, violets, ripe strawberries, funk and spice. This is a lighter style which I love and very nice finish. Day 1: Christmas Eve Wine. Solid and classic Insignia. Dark currants, earth, menthol, spices, floral and cigar. Medium to long finish. Showing well on the pop and pour but I suspect this will improve on day 2. 94 points (94 points) - 2015 Mollydooker Shiraz The Boxer – Australia, South Australia (12/24/2019)
This is a big style wine. Not to my liking. Blackberries, heat and exotic spices. Just can’t find balanced here. For me 84 points
