Was at a local wine shop today and honestly these 3 wines coming out of Oregon are some of the worst wines the state has ever made. Not drinkable would be a great descriptor. I just can’t believe who buys this stuff. For sure the Pinot Gris is making top 10 worst wines of the year.
- 2023 Greetings Wine Company Pinot Gris – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/29/2025)
When this is the worst of the three wines from Greetings that is saying something. For sure top 10 worst wines of the year candidate. Cleaning chemicals, no fruit detected and water. Very short finish. Please avoid at all costs. (50 points) - 2022 Greetings Wine Company Pinot Noir – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/29/2025)
This makes A to Z look like a Grand Cru. Smoke, sweet fruits and a super short finish. Not sure who could possibly consume a bottle of this but if this is the first Oregon wine someone tasted they might not try a second. (60 points) - 2023 Greetings Wine Company Rosé – USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley (3/29/2025)
This is one of the worst Rose wines I have tasted in a while although had one from Australia not too long ago. Chemicals, 3 day old cotton candy and water. Couldn’t be a worse offering from Oregon. (55 points)

Sounds terrible.
