I told you about Davenport Cellars less than a year ago. This is one of the few wineries I am buying right now due to the great value and amazing quality.
There are some really good wines still on the website and email me if you are buying so I can tell you about the best pricing deals on them.

Here are the wines left that I have reviewed.
- 2014 Davenport Cellars Mr. B – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (9/7/2020)
Day 1: This is the best bottle of the lot. Best QPR in my life. Blueberries, minerals, dust, wood, spice, menthol and dark chocolate. Long finish and concentrated. Balanced wine!!! 94 points
Day 2: Not as good but solid. Spice, blueberries, wood, menthol and dark chocolate. Big style wine but great. 92 points
Recommendation: One of the few bottles of Mr. B that went down on day 2. Drink now to 2026. (94 points) - This is the best under $15 wine in the world. All the local wine press and wine bloggers have never offered a wine this good!!!
- 2014 Davenport Cellars Continuity – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (8/11/2020)
Day 1: Wow has this one improved. Blueberries, bitter chocolate, bramble, mint, menthol and cedar. Complex wine and good acidity. Medium plus finish. Should age for another 5 plus years. 92 points
Day 2: Even better. This is a fantastic wine and while not as good as the 12 and 08 it is a tremendous value. Will be ordering some more. 93 points
Recommendation: Forget those $80 Blends from Napa and Washington State and buy this for $15.00. (93 points)
- 2015 Davenport Cellars Patch – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley (4/9/2020)
Davenport Cellars Wines; 12/30/2019-5/8/2020 (Minneapolis, MN): Day 1: Just coming off the excellent 2014 Mr. B. Patch is a tasty wine and the price is right. Juicy fruit featuring plum, cherry and mulberries. Some spice and floral notes. Nice wine. 90 points
Day 2: Similar to day 1. Nothing amazing but certainly a solid tasty wine. 90 points
Recommendation: Good wine for non wine geeks for parties. You want a better wine get the Mr. B 2014 for the same price. (90 points)
- 2016 Davenport Cellars Pinot Noir . – USA, Oregon (4/15/2020)
Davenport Cellars Wines; 12/30/2019-5/8/2020 (Minneapolis, MN): Day 1: Had to try this as they were making some nice Washington State Reds so worth a bottle. Dark purple for Pinot. Wood, strawberry, rose petals, sweet cherries and perfume. While this is not my ideal Oregon style Pinot Noir this is really tasty. Might have to get a few more for every day drinkers. 89 points
Day 2: Better. This is a really nice Pinot from Willamette and few wines in the under $20 category will compete with this. More rustic today with forest floor, wood, rose petals, strawberry and cherry. Medium finish and good acidity. This is a winner for sure. 90 points
Recommendation: $14 a bottle on the 50% off sale is a great bargain.
This is a three-way blend of clones 115, 777 and Pommard.
Aged in French oak. Cases

Thanks for the reminder. Love the Mr. B. Now if we could get our other local educators promoting some good wines at a great price.
Brad most locals are sellouts! Really not impressed with their recommendations. The Mr. B is one of the best wines in the world for under $15.00. I ordered 3 cases yesterday. With shipping my final cost was only $11.80 a bottle.
