I rely on Cellar Tracker for purchases and of course others use my reviews to make buying decisions. While not everyone on the site is offering accurate information the bulk of the product is extremely useful. Every now and then you come across the most ridiculous tasting notes however. This will be a running list of those as I come across them. This one caught my attention today:
2006 Andrew Will Sorella

Thursday, September 21, 2017 – The cork completely came apart into little pieces. Won’t being a patron of this label again.

Yesterday found that this user didn’t like a few wines from Sleight of Hand with the most useless note I might have ever seen other than a score that is 50 for a good wine.

- Comment posted by Slammin Sammie:12/14/2023 4:50:00 PM – It wasn’t anything in particular other than that the sum of its parts was no greater than the sum of its parts. A bit harsh; a bit CA bold for no apparent reason; a lack of what I would consider the refinement I would expect from a Syrah. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good in a way that would make me want to go buy it again.
