Another Winebid Outstanding Value

Washington State is where the values are on Winebid. Well below wine club pricing on wines such as Reynvaan, sometimes Cayuse, WT Vintners, Sleight of Hand, Saviah and many more. In this case this wine was an amazing steal the first time at $22 with shipping and fees but at $30.00 for three bottles I am not complaining on the second purchase. Here is the note.

2014 W. T. Vintners Syrah Damavian Les Collines Vineyard Block 30
 – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley (5/1/2025)
Day 1: Third bottle all from auction. First two stellar deal at $22 with shipping and this batch $30 with shipping and great deal as well. Diam 10. Black olives, minerals, tar, sour cherry, dust, earth, leather, blue currants and charred meat. Medium finish. Stunning bottle for the money. 94 points
Day 2: Fresh and lively on day 2 with black olives, black pepper, spice, dust, earth, minerals, blue currants, sour cherry, chalk and charred meat. A wonderful expression of Syrah for a great price. 94 points
Wonderful evolution of this wine and maybe a half a point better on day 3. Long road ahead for enjoyment. Black pepper, menthol, spice, roasted meats, tar, sour cherry, black currants, black olives and minerals. Super complex and tasty. 94.5 points
Recommendation: One of the better $30 via auction in the Syrah category with shipping. (94 points)Posted from CellarTracker
