Black olives, minerals, tar, sour cherry, dust, earth, leather, blue currants and charred meat. Medium finish. Stunning bottle for the money. 94 points Day 2: Fresh and lively on day 2 with black olives, black pepper, spice, dust, earth, minerals, blue currants, sour cherry, chalk and charred meat. A wonderful expression of Syrah for a great price. 94 points Wonderful evolution of this wine and maybe a half a point better on day 3. Long road ahead for enjoyment. Black pepper, menthol, spice, roasted meats, tar, sour cherry, black currants, black olives and minerals.
