I have tasted wines at all price points and personally I like the one’s that over delivery on price more than the $100 95 pointer. Well this one offers both in spades. This might be the most polarizing wine I have tasted in years. It is not Left Bank, or California, Washington or even Australia where it is from. It is a mix with some amazing funkiness.

Day 1: Every now and then you get a wine that is polarizing and this is it. Dark purple and perfect cork. The funk on this wine is off the charts in a good way. Funk, blueberries, cigar, spice, minerals, dust, rose petals and pepper. The concentration on the finish is dense. Medium plus finish and nice acidity. This is my new favorite wine of the year. 94 points
