France 44: $16.99

The Winner: Morelli’s. 4/7 first place votes on best price and two second place votes. While Liquor Boy had good prices on sale they are normally not that low.

Best Pricing: Really not much of a discussion as this goes to Morelli’s in St. Paul. Liquor Boy is right behind them with their Sparkling Sale. They have constantly had the best deals on main brands for years. Total Wine for main stream products is not bad either. Top 10 Liquors is good for their sale prices but everyday prices are high. Get on their email list to get the deals.

Worst Pricing: Bare none it is France 44. I have purchased one item at France 44 over the years. Their prices are the highest in the Twin Cities. $85 more for Dom Perignon is one of many overprice examples. MGM is not far behind them. I am always amazed at seeing their prices on the shelf as they have several stores and should be able to get better pricing but they don’t offer it to the consumer.

Disappointing pricing: Surdyk’s, Haskell’s & South Lyndale Liquors. Without a sale these places are not worth the trip.

  1. Michael just added one of the best deals at the top of the blog. Enjoy and check it out.

  2. I am long time lurker and really enjoy all of your reviews. I see you have the low price for LaGrande Dame listed I picked that up today’s me from your post and also order a Dom Perignon for $144 which I couldn’t find a lower price for.
    Keep up the good work.

    1. Dave it is amazing the price difference out there for the same product. I just added the Liquor Boy prices and they are excellent. They do have some really good weekly deals.

      Cheers,
