WineStreet Spirits Best Sale 2019!!!

While other wine shops have sales they pale in comparison to WineStreet Spirits. Most shops are predictable and some like MGM, Liquor Boy, Haskell’s, Surdyk’s and others really don’t offer much in the terms of value for the more sophisticated wine buyer. No one buys $50 priced Bordeaux from Surdyk’s and if they do they should pay me to shop for them. Liquor Boy’s prices are alarmingly high and have very few deals. MGM is a walk in and out in less than 5 minutes the few times I have been in there. Haskell’s has some really good wines but at the highest prices in the country no one is buying and that is why you see so much collecting dust on the shelves. Honestly you would be better off shopping at Costco than previously mentioned. I will admit I sift through the better deals at Surdyk’s and Haskell’s and Surdyk’s does have by far the best deals and selection on German Rieslings.

The January Sale at WineStreet Spirits brought another level to deals on wine in the Twin Cities. Brad Weiss and I talked yesterday and were amazed more wine didn’t move out the door.

WineStreet Spirits has the best pricing in the US on so many wines I recently purchased. If this sale was in Los Angeles there would be nothing left on the shelves. Here are some wines I can’t believe the general public have not purchased and are still available.

2015 Liquid Farm Chardonnay La Hermana (USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley) $20 wine searcher

2014 Liquid Farm Chardonnay Bien Bien (USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley) $28 wine searcher

2015 Liquid Farm Chardonnay Four (USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills) $36 wine searcher

2015 Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay Sta. Rita Hills (USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills) $18 wine searcher

2013 Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay 3-D (USA, California, Central Coast, Sta. Rita Hills) $32 wine searcher

2014 Le Vieux Donjon Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) $28  wine searcher

2015 Rhys Pinot Noir Anderson Valley (USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley) $30 wine searcher

2015 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape (France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape) $69 wine searcher

Here is a link to their sale which ends on January 27.

If you want even better deals than these I suggest you go over to my new web page labeled Big Top Wine Deals as I will be teaming up with them to offer the best close out deals on wine in Twin Cities History.

  1. I agree that Liquor Boy is over priced. I can’t believe people buy their Napa wines that are at least $10 more than wine searcher average.

  2. Rick the only thing I have ever bought at Liquor Boy is they had a great price on the 2014 Buena Vista Cabernet Sauvignon Chateau Buena Vista (USA, California, Napa Valley) for $25 a bottle. Everything else in the store was higher than I would pay for it.
