El Gacho Steakhouse

Wonderful meal at El Gacho. Just glad I was not paying the bill on this one. The 8 ounce filet was outstanding however the wine service started out promising but the pours from the decanter had to be down my us. Not sure how that happened in the private wine room dining space. No worries as the wines were outstanding.

  • 2016 Kevin White Winery Heritage DuBrul Vineyard – USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Yakima Valley
Day 1: Cherry, plum, spice, fresh ground coffee and bell peppers. Very concentrated and long finish.
Day 2: A bit more approachable showing some really nice fruit featuring cherries, plums and blueberries. Spice, coffee, bell peppers and dark chocolate. This is an amazing effort and the price point is hard to beat. 93 points (93 pts.)
