A consistent wine!

  • The Two Hands Angels Share Shiraz has been a consistent winner for me. At only $11 a bottle you too could have bought this as I offered it up to my private client email blast. Make sure to get on it as there will be some really good deals coming up this fall.
  • 2014 Two Hands Shiraz Angels Share – Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale (9/7/2019)
  • Day 2: Underbrush, minerals, tar, blueberries, spice and pepper. Medium finish. A bit harsh on this bottle. Not really as enjoyable as the other 2. 85 points
Day 3: Winner! This is why I do 3 Day Wine Reviews. While not all wines improve this one certainly did. The harshness has dissipated and now reveals a glorious floral quality on the nose and palate. Blueberries, plums, spice, minerals, tar and black pepper are prominent. Medium to long finish. Complex wine. 91 points
Recommendation: Let these sleep for 3 plus years. Drink 2022 to 2025. (91 points)
  • 2014 Two Hands Shiraz Angels Share – Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale (6/7/2019)
Day 1: Floral, spice, clay, raspberries and underbrush. Medium, rustic finish. Solid overall. 89 points
Day 2: Smoother wine on day 2 with raspberries, dust, underbrush, black licorice and floral notes. Better wine for sure. 91 points
Day 3: Really nice with black licorice, violets, dust, underbrush and red currants. Medium plus finish and balance overall. 91 points
Recommendation: I would not drink this on day one as not as good. Cellar for 2/3 years and be rewarded. (91 points)

Day 1: Great on a pop and pour. Floral, pepper, raspberries, boysenberries and crushed rock. This is really tasty and not over the top. Balanced and good acidity. 91 points
Day 2: Raspberries, bramble, pepper, underbrush, sour cherries and crushed rock. Balanced and quite tasty. No over the top fruit bomb here. Well done. 91 points (91 points)
